Terms & Conditions

Tão Linda Therapies is a trading name of Maria Luísa Gonçalves, an independent holistic therapist providing the services described in these Terms & Conditions. References to "Tão Linda Therapies", "we", "us" and "our" throughout these Terms & Conditions refer to Maria Luísa Gonçalves trading as Tão Linda Therapies. 

1. Agreement to Terms

By accessing our website, booking a therapy service, purchasing a gift voucher, or submitting an enquiry, you agree to be bound by these Terms & Conditions. Please read them carefully.

These Terms are governed by the laws of England and Wales and comply with the Consumer Rights Act 2015 and applicable UK regulations.

2. Services

Tão Linda Therapies offers holistic wellness services including but not limited to:

• Aromatherapy Massage (mobile and in-treatment-room)
• Wood Therapy & Brazilian Manual Lymphatic Drainage
• AromaFlow Cupping Massage
• Remedial Massage
• Pregnancy Massage
• Sound, Touch & Aroma Signature Massage
• Angelic Reiki / Energy alignment
• Ground & Release - Indian head massage
• Beauty Facial Treatment and Glow & Lift Sculpting Face Massage
• Embodied Systemic Healing (Family Constellations + somatic massage)
• Wellness Workshops, Couples Massage Workshops and Group Experiences

All therapy services are provided for relaxation and general wellness purposes only. Our services are not a substitute for medical treatment. Clients with medical conditions should consult a qualified healthcare professional before booking.

3. Bookings & Appointments

3.1 Booking Confirmation: Your booking is confirmed only when you receive a written confirmation from us. We reserve the right to decline bookings.

3.2 Cancellation by Client: All bookings are non-refundable. Appointments may be rescheduled free of charge with a minimum of 48 hours' notice prior to the scheduled appointment time. Requests to reschedule made less than 48 hours before the appointment cannot be accommodated, and the full session fee will be retained. Clients who fail to attend their appointment without prior notice ("no-shows") will be charged the full session fee. In exceptional circumstances, Tão Linda Therapies reserves the right to consider requests outside of this policy at its sole discretion.

3.3 Cancellation by Us: In exceptional circumstances we may need to cancel your appointment. We will give you as much notice as possible and offer an alternative date or full refund.

3.4 Lateness: If you arrive late for an appointment, we will do our best to accommodate you; however, the session may be shortened and the full fee will apply.

4. Payments

4.1 Payment is accepted via our secure online booking system (powered by Stripe) or in person.

4.2 All prices are displayed in GBP (£) and include VAT where applicable.

4.3 We do not store card payment details. All payment processing is handled securely by Stripe.

4.4 Prices are subject to change; current prices are displayed on our website at the time of booking.

5. Gift Vouchers

5.1 Validity: Gift vouchers do not carry an automatic expiry date unless a specific expiry is stated on the voucher itself at the time of purchase. Where an expiry date is shown, the voucher must be redeemed before that date.

5.2 Vouchers are non-refundable and cannot be exchanged for cash.

5.3 Vouchers may be transferred to another person.

5.4 Lost or stolen vouchers cannot be replaced — please keep your voucher code safe.

5.5 A voucher may be used towards services or experiences of equal or lesser value; for higher-priced services the difference is payable at the time of booking.

5.6 Vouchers may be redeemed in full or in part. Any remaining balance stays linked to the voucher code and can be used on future bookings while the voucher is active.

6. Health & Safety

6.1 Health Information
You are responsible for providing accurate, complete and up-to-date information regarding your health, including any medical conditions, injuries, allergies, pregnancy, medications, or other factors that may affect your treatment. This information must be disclosed before each session and updated if your circumstances change.

6.2 Suitability of Treatment
Failure to disclose relevant health information or changes in your health status may affect the suitability and safety of treatment. Tão Linda Therapies reserves the right to modify, postpone, or decline treatment where necessary to protect the health and wellbeing of the client or therapist.

6.3 Medical Advice
Our services are provided for relaxation, wellbeing and complementary therapeutic support. They are not intended to diagnose, treat, cure or prevent any medical condition and should not be considered a substitute for professional medical advice, diagnosis or treatment.

6.4 Right to Refuse Treatment
We reserve the right to refuse or discontinue treatment at any time if we believe it is unsafe, inappropriate, or not in the best interests of the client or therapist.

6.5 Clients Under 18
Clients under the age of 18 may only receive treatment with written consent from a parent or legal guardian. We reserve the right to require a parent or guardian to be present during the treatment.

6.6 Professional Insurance
Tão Linda Therapies maintains appropriate professional indemnity and public liability insurance for the services provided.

7. Limitation of Liability

To the fullest extent permitted by law, Tão Linda Therapies shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, or consequential losses arising from the use of our services. Our total liability shall not exceed the amount paid for the specific service.

Nothing in these Terms limits or excludes our liability for death or personal injury caused by negligence, fraud, or any other liability that cannot be limited by law.

8. Intellectual Property

All content on this website — including text, images, logos, and design — is the property of Tão Linda Therapies and is protected by copyright. You may not reproduce, distribute, or create derivative works without our written permission.

9. Website Use

You agree not to use this website for any unlawful purpose or in a way that infringes the rights of others. We reserve the right to suspend access to the website without notice.

10. Privacy

Your use of this website and our services is also governed by our Privacy Policy, which is incorporated into these Terms by reference.

11. Changes to Terms

We may update these Terms from time to time. The "Last updated" date will reflect changes. Continued use of our services after changes constitutes acceptance of the updated Terms.
